Plague

This plague is a historical plague. In 14th century it already existed and it caused about 50 million deaths.

It occur in the summer when people are out their houses. Because it transmitted by fleas. Also it transmitted by rodents for that in Canada the government exterminate rodents in the city parks specifically in US National Park Service.

The bacterium responsible is (Yersinia pestis) which was introduced by rats in 1900.
It causes affects the lymph nodes and causes gangrene. It can be hard to identify because symptoms developed after three to seven days.

I think that the government have to help the people who have this bacterium and it isn't necessary to exterminate all rodents, I think that should only make them treatment.

Crash Concorde

The Concord was used until 2000. After 2000 almost it hasn't been used because on 25 July 2000 there was an accident in Paris. The flight was an Air France 4590 the plane had to arrive in New York. But while the plane take off surprisingly the plane has fire in the tail next to the reactor and the fuel tank.

This accident spent because of a piece of another aircraft that had previously fallen on the track. This piece was an unofficial piece.

For that reason I wanted to write about this accident. My question is: Why the Concord isn't used? The fault of the accident wasn't responsibility of Concord Air France and the Concord did the flight Paris-New York in 210 minutes. A normal plane as we actually used do the flight in 450 minutes.

In conclusion I think that we have to used Concord a part of that it is like a rocket and for many people as I would be an incredible experience.

Tesla launches 'autopilot' update but urges caution

Tesla has launched a software update for its vehicles - enabling the cars to have an "autopilot" mode.

Tesla the inventor of lightning tower. Now launched a software update for its vehicles it software can drive alone the car. He clarify that tesla only make better and more comfortable the conduction. But Tesla don't want responsible about the software because they say that the driver have to stay attentive while he is using the helping autopilot in the highway.
This software uses: cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, etc to determinate its position.

I think in future all the cars will have autopilot or rails like the train. If it will exists, there wouldn't happen accidents.

Ivory Coast: Deadly shooting at Grand Bassam beach resort

Five persons were killed in Grand Bassam beach resort Ivory Coast, Africa by a group of Islamist militants.

It occurred at the time of heat when the resorts are empty of foreigners. The government sent the Security forces on the scene. The Security forces firm the five deaths. People who see the scene clarified that they saw people running from the beach.

This group of Islamists only get that the other country considered them a mad people and it impacts in their country and their families because their country will became poor because the most money that the country get is the tourism money. There lots of families who live thanks to tourism.

I’m Dídac Garriga Salleres. I’m seventeen years old. I have blue eyes. When I was a little child I was a troublemaker but as I grew up I behaved better. I play basketball in Adepaf Figueres because I had success in Castelló d’Empúries when I played for C.B.Castelló. Apart from the sport I have to focus in my studies because I know that the players who will be devoted to basketball are quite tall and I’m too short. I have one brother, Roger. My father is a teacher who works in the Montessori School in Figueres

I don’t know what I will be or do but I would like to do a few things in my life. I would like to be a veterinary of a park like Loro-parque in Canarias. I would also like to produce biodiesel to put in my car and focus in the things that are related with the recycling.

The short goals that I would like to carry out is to finish high school with good grades and go to the university of Girona to study engineering, for that I will never drop out my studies.

The long terms goals are the things that I would like to do when I will be older. Currently I don’t have any apart from the things that I explained before.

I like the sentence: “No one’s written your destiny for you, because her you write your own destiny.”

This sentence is so powerful and emotional because it means that you can do whatever you want. Everyone can earn money for work on what you want provided that is legal.

Mark Bezos: A life lesson from a volunteer firefighter

Mark Bezos is a assistant captain of a volunteer fire company. He explains to us his first fire. He was the second of the scene, he had to find the captain. He founded next to the homeowner who was wearing barefoot and pajamas. The first of the scene saved the homeowner's dog. The captain say to Mark that he had to enter in the house and got a pair of shoes. He did. A few weeks later he received thanks from the homeowner.

I like from the video one sentence: Not every day is going to offer us a chance to save somebody's life, but every day offers us an opportunity to affect one.
This sentence makes you realize that you have to live every day like as if it were the last because you have to enjoy the day.

Finally he say that all of things that he did like a volunteer, he learn that all are important. Bezos say an advice: Don't wait to earn the first million to make a difference in somebody's life. If you have something to give, give it now.

Describe an image

I will describe this image. This moment is when I went to Azores with my family specifically in the national park of the Picolos, a bird who is a protect. Is so difficult to see this bird but when we stayed here we saw a couple of Picolos. In this park we met a catalan person who is from Granollers.

In the image there are three people, my brother in the middle, I in the right and my father in the left. I wore a basketball pants, sandals and a black cotton T-shirt. My brother wore the same clothes like me and my father too. The photo has been taken by my mother. I really enjoyed this travel with my family because it's after a few days that my grandmother died and we disconnected of this tragedy.

Final Reflection

Yes I see my improvement in particular, the presentation of the blogg, the way that I do the yoursays. Also I improve in th elanguage because I need to search a lot of words to do better the blogg. Can you see that I'm writing in the first entrances.

2. Which activity best shows your level of English?

I think that the best activity to learn english in all aspects is the presentations because you need to write information that you search before to explain and remember when you will say in class

in front of the teacher. For example I learn so much when I did with Marc the Masai Hunt Lion.

My favorite USEFUL task is the presentation.

4. Which activities did you NOT find useful to learn English? Why not?

My worst activity is the vocabulary cheat and the PET beacuse it's so boring to do it because is very mechanic.

I will like to do it the Rites of Passage beacuse I learn a lot when I was doing it for this I will like to do it because is an easy task and a very importont to learn about other cultures.

Xavi Hernàndez

Xavi is a F.C.Barcelona player who has play more than seven hundred game with Barça. Yesterday he did his last game with Barça, this game was the final of the Champions League the best league in the world about soccer. Fortunately they won and today he celebrate with his team in Barcelona. He play the last 25 minutes but he was enough to show his talent with the ball in his feet. I think that he is the best midfielder in the world as always is Catalan. He talk about his wife that they will have a son because his wife is pregnant. I hope that he will go very well in Qatar, Xavi forever.

Life when you have lived life

Now I will explain an opinion article of Ramon Folch in exchange for news.

Ramon Folch talks about life when you've lived life. He explains that early in life as you see great people are dying later your family: grandparents, parents, siblings, friends ... until he leaves you. When you're alone you live miserably. Some people become more conservative and more daring. So when you live with all the people around you're not aware that you have until you're alone. Yet you know that someday you will come better the reality in which you live each moment. He compares the ignorance of when death occurs, (the target) with a clever sentence: "No one is so young that can not die tomorrow" as Fernando de Rojas says. As you do not know when it will happen you have to always live as much good as you can and as Ramon says improving the life around us.

 I think and believe as Folch that death will always be there i must live with it so you can use all the time with those around you. Also when you are young and a family member or friend dies, you do not know the pain caused by the old you. So when an elder dies you think good to him and he was not surprised little life and although it hurts you inside. Folch says that's why when you get older and you've run out of anyone around you nobody will be surprised if your death but may hurt.

I chose this news because the writer talk about a recently topic. The writer explain to us that we live in a politics success from the eleven September. Rusia broke the relation with Washington, because the United States suspend Rusia from G-18.

Also the writer explain why this tensions don't they will not assume a cold War.

On the one hand Rusia does not have any powerful country to help it. Besides that nobody helps it, the GDP is very low and each year is less. On the other hand Russia invests 8 times less than the United States on army. Because of this Rusia can not start another Cold War, they can only cause problems for their neighbors.  The benefit of this is China getting buy the energy at a lower cost and longer because nobody buys energy from Russia because of this conflict.

Moscow tries to thwart the West. Rusia tries that Syria does not destroy his nuclear weapons or give them to the West but Assad has enough land to survive. President al-Assad's Syria. Russia is not interested in triggering an arms race near its borders because it would cause damage which would include to them. In conclusion Russia is a regional power and nothing else. East and West are in a dangerous situation with regard to Ukraine.

Coach Carter

Coach Carter is a film which show an example of the American people who lives in the ghetto and who their parents take drugs or are in the prison.
At the beginning of the film the gang of boys are rebel and they didn't study but, after arrive the coach Carter who have been entertained a very famous team.
A few days, suddenly the gang need to improve to can play in the team. The coach teach the gang to are a person and are a good basketball players.
Coach stopped playing their until they improve in the marks of the class, but the parents complain at the coach to do that, but he explain the problem. The problem is that they don't learn to are a person they will finish as a offender.

In my opinion this coach is the best that I ever see because he do methods that other coach don't do. Is a film to learn the difficult lives who lives this gang of boys.

Tina Turner

While I listen her music I will talk about her life.

Tina is a famous singer known in all the world for the queen of the rock. She was born in Tennessee (Southeastern United States) and she is seventy five years now.
She begun her career in the 1950. Her first song was Little Ann. When she divorce from her husband, she rebuilt her career.

I think that she is a good person because she wrote some very nice songs. My favorite song is Simply the Best because when she sang in her concert she dance and she make me laugh by the way that she dance.

The world is our planet and if we can live with conditions we will improve all the issues. I think that we don't respect it like it respects us.

First, I will talk about pollution, the pollution doesn't affect only the planet, this issue affect us too. That's why we need to do things better than we are doing.

Second overconsumption was terrible consequences for the planet, because all population throws stuff into the trash. This people don't do that because they want, they do because all things were produced in bad conditions. Because of this the people need to throw and but another only for money.

Third, the world wars kill thousands of people died only because of two governments that think different.

All these consequences teach  us that the planet isn't better than before. But we do things better too. For example the globalization and the technologies.

In my conclusion the globalization and the technologies. All this stuff think to me that we don't do the planet a better place.

How you make a cage for parrots?

Now I will explain the instructions to do a cage for parrots:

Material:

-Wood sticks.
-Mesh rolls.
-Nails.
-Hammer
-Saw

Procedure:

1.- We draw a picture to know where we put the cage and what we put it.

2.- We need to put concrete in the underground surrounding the cage because there  will be rats and this is to prevent that the rats kill the parrots.

3.-After we begin to build the structure with the wooden sticks.

4.-We cut the a pieces of mesh to put in the structure.

5.-We pin the pieces of mesh with nails.

6.- We can chose to put a roof with wood.

7.- Finally we do a double door to enter without being able to escape any parrot.

Mononucleosi infectious

I will explain an infection that I have just pass. This infection is the Mononucleosi, this infection also is know as the kiss infection. It transferable by saliva. It's the lowest  infection of the blood because it only do that you will be more tired. Depend on the person it affect more o minus, in my case it affect very little because if it would be for me I had already played. But in other case for example my brother two years ago he affect it more than me because he didn't do sport and nothing, I didn't stay wrong, but I stay crushed. Fortunately this last Friday I  went to the doctor and he register me. He said that I can already did normal life with competitions.

Aratinga red Head

Aratinga red head called aratinga wagleri is a type of parrot who had very green and red colours. Her peak had clear colour than the other parrots and is very sharpening. It is a parrot of 20 cm of size. Sometimes scream and do very loud but is a good parrot to have because is very loving.

I like this parrot because I have one who were grow up with me and my father. She can speak and say words. Is a territorial parrot because I have another type of parrot that the aratinga remove her husband for this the other parrrots don't raise. I would buy another but it's so expensive.

Girona don't pass at first division direct.

Unfortunately today Girona F.C. don't pass at first division direct because Lugo tie in the 91 minute. After in 94 minute Girona F.C. make a goal but the referee linesman cancel it for offside. The Girona hobby throws bottles to the referee linesman and the referee suspend the game and run inside the dressing because the hobby of Girona want to hurt them. After a long time, the referee rebukes the game and the Girona F.C. can play the last ninety seconds. When the game has finish all the Girona F.C. players are very sad and they cry.

I think that the problem proceed at the beginning second part because they didn't play better than Lugo so I already think that Lugo have been done a goal. Despite the fact I want to win Girona F.C.

My research project

Today I will talk about my research project. It consist in the applications of the oil reused. In that project I explain the history of the vegetal oil, types of oils, the applications and more things. My tutor is Lluisa, my chemist teacher. We center the project in the chemist part of the oil. If I have chosen another project, probably now I be would doing the technological project about the car engines. But I prefer to do this because I have a lot of information because my mother work about this and more things about recycling. Also my tutor help to me a lot with all things, she always ask to me and say to me many things to improve my project so I'm really happy to have chosen this project. I hope we can make biodiesel and soaps for the toilets.
